Data we collect

Depending on how you use Memoreez, we process:

• Account data: your name, email address and login credentials when you sign up as a photographer.
• Gallery content: the photos, cover images, watermarks, gallery names and settings you upload.
• Client interactions: favorites selected by your clients, gallery views, downloads and, where you enable it, gallery passwords and email addresses used to access a gallery.
• Billing data: subscription plan and payment status. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and never stored on our servers.
• Usage and device data: pages visited, approximate location, browser and device information, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your data

We use personal data to provide and secure the service, store and deliver your galleries, process payments, send service emails (such as gallery share and expiration notices), provide customer support, measure and improve the product, and run our affiliate program and marketing.

Service providers

We rely on a number of service providers who process data on our behalf. Google Firebase provides authentication, our database and file storage, Cloudflare delivers gallery images through its content delivery network, and Vercel hosts our website. Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. To understand how Memoreez is used, we use Google Analytics for website analytics, Mixpanel for product analytics (with EU data residency) and Hotjar for usage analytics. Meta Pixel and the Conversions API help us measure our advertising, and Rewardful tracks affiliate referrals. Finally, our email provider sends transactional emails on our behalf.

Cookies

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and for the analytics, advertising and affiliate services listed above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the service may not work without them.

Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Galleries are kept until you delete them or they expire under your plan. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data unless we must keep it for legal, tax or accounting reasons.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, export of or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing, by emailing support@memoreez.io. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Clients who appear in a photographer's gallery should contact that photographer, who controls the gallery content.
